Laminate Binding
All text blocks are fully sewn incorporating calico
reinforced endpapers giving the new binding an added
durability. A flexible PVA adhesive is then applied to
the spine to strengthen the text block.
As library budgets are being reduced a cost effective option
for librarians would be to purchase paper backed books instead
of the more expensive publishers hardbacks. Utilising our laminate
conversion service, librarians will not only save money but will
receive a more durable higher specification binding.
