Hardbound Thesis
Also known as a case binding. These are bound with a professional
quality library buckram. The binding itself is thread sewn
to the highest standard, and glued for maximum durability.
With thick 3mm boards offering a rigid finish, and solid
feel, combined with the spine curvature for ease of opening.
This binding is most commonly used for final thesis submission,
and for personal copies.
Softbound Thesis
The soft bound card thesis uses a high quality card front and back, which includes a distinctive marble effect for a stylish finish. The spine is held firmly in place with buckram cloth. The soft bound thesis is most commonly used for draft copies, and for viva presentations.
Softbound Cloth Thesis
Soft bound cloth theses are required by students attending institutions affiliated to the University of London. This soft binding uses the same professional quality as the hard bound thesis. The buckram is mounted onto a flexible card front and back. The spine is sewn for maximum durability to complete the high quality finish.
Comb Bound Thesis
Ideal for draft theses, small projects, reports, and essays the comb bound thesis uses a plastic comb spine for accommodating punched documents. A transparent PVC front board allows the title page of your document to be viewed. The back is held in place with a rigid board, which gives firm support to the binding.
Looseleaf Thesis
Loose leaf thesis is a requirement for The University of Bradford. The binding is similar in finish to the hard bound thesis - using thick 3mm board, and archival quality library buckram, but the pages are held together with brass screws which can be readily removed for adding amendments and extra pages.
